London Taxis transport boy band Union J to impromptu busking gigs to promote debut single ‘Carry You’
Sony Music Entertainment UK Ltd is launching a heavy weight taxi advertising campaign to promote Union J’s debut single ‘Carry You’. Union J competed on last year’s series of The X Factor and have since signed a record deal with Sony Music.
The Union J boys George, JJ, Jaymi and Josh will appear on Taxi Supersides across London showcasing the band and their upcoming single.
Today (Monday 3rd June) Union J will travel in two of the branded taxis to secret locations in London to perform spontaneous gigs on the street.
A competition is also running on the inside of the taxis and lucky passengers will see the competition to win dinner with Union J on the taxi tip seats.
The competition encourages applicants to enter the registration plate of the Union J Carry You taxi that they have seen for their chance to go for dinner with Union J with a friend.
A dedicated website has been set up for the competition http://www.unionjofficial.com/taxis/
The iconic London taxi will give the music promotion extensive coverage across the capital to ensure everybody knows about ‘Carry You’, and will be tracked by Union J fans looking to see the band perform and for their chance to enter the exclusive taxi competition.
